Base44 undergoes periodic penetration testing and security audits by independent external auditors.
- Cross-border transfers of personal data (outside the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland) rely on a permitted mechanism — an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), under which Base44 is an active participant.
- Base44 maintains a public list of its own sub-processors and commits to notifying customers in advance of material changes.
